No name brand. To use in car to play music we have a new sienna with USB jack. Found that at some point in time a file would not play with media player. From that point on, no new files copied to USB after the bad one, would play. Says no codec sort of error. If I delete the bad one and try to recopy it, it would not play. So I format USB and start over. It happens again, with different file. I do this a couple times. Finally, I figure out that media player is changing the file to be unplayable.
I tried opening one with media player classic, and it works, but then open the file with the current media player, I get the error, and it is no longer playable by classic. After the file fails, the media info, artist, album, ect, is gone, but name and size remain. Size looks normal, but the album picture no longer displays on file manager.
