How to reload software on blackberry bold 9900

This is a very important step where speed is essential. Plug in the phone, do not insert the battery and the sound indication from the PC will indicate the driver being installed from the BlackBerry device. This screen will stay up, but the connection will change to unknown, and the next button will be made available. This is where the NEXT button must be clicked quickly.

If the PIN displays, cancel the whole process, unplug the phone, and restart the whole process again, ensuring that the next button is clicked before the PIN shows.

This is what stops the phone from rebooting from the damaged Operating System. It is now time to plug the battery in while this process is occurring. The device application screen will display clickable boxes with applications such as Language and Input Support, Supplemental Word Lists, and some native BlackBerry Applications that can be loaded onto the device at this time.

After selections have been made, click Next. Select the appropriate Backup type : Full all device data and settings Quick exclude email Custom selected data only Note : If Custom is selected, a new box will be presented where the individual databases can be selected for back up for a list of all databases, see Article If the smartphone is equipped with built-in media storage, select the Files saved on my built-in media storage check box.

Click Back up. I did delete the vendor file from the application folder like it says to do on most posts My issue is right here.. I proceed to the application loader. It tells me that "No software is available for your device" I am currently using desktop manager v5. From reading some stuff here, it seems I now have to do a complete wipe to restore the BB. My questions is this, I haven't added any new software in a long time, why would this error just pop up out of no where?

On the screen of my blackberry bold says "Error " Reload software, and there's a highlighted "reset" on the screen. I tried to to that, but when it restart, it came back to the same screen again with Error I tried to connect it to the desktop manager, but it says that "blackberry desktop software cannot communicate with the connected device".

I also tried to take out the battery, sim card and media card, and back on again, still got the same message on screen "Error "Any advice how i can fix this? Before it went of i was deleting a few apps, because my memory was low, and it says that deleting will take action after restarting the bb, i pressed ok, bb was deleting the apps, but the clock icon keep on turning, like it was stuck.

It stays like that for hours, so i decided to take out the battery and put it back in again, and that when i start getting this "error " message on my screen. My Bold showed me JVM error with a white screen and then nothing, I have tried to repair it without success, is there anything I can do to revive it? I tried using CrackMem for the first time when installing the latest OS.

I did everything the instructiosn told me to do and now all I keep getting is Error no matter what I try everytime it tries to load the software to the BB. Does anyone know how I can reset my phone to get rid of this error please?

Or is it better to take it to an 02 shop 02 is my service provider and let them do it? I rang O2 earlier and their helpline didnt know how to help me. Ive google this error but cant seem to fix problem.

When ever I try to restart my phone it shows this error. And I cant even connect my phone to my computer. Workspaces Support.
